Daryn Weatherman and St. Charles Glass Create Practical and Attractive Glass Installation Designs

Exceptional glass installation begins with a great design. St. Charles Glass and Glazing has become known in the St. Louis area as a top planner, coordinator and installer of beautiful home and commercial glass projects.

St. Charles, Missouri – St. Charles Glass and Glazing, Inc. has developed a system of providing top glass installations that begin with expert design and planning services. Over the last 15 years, Daryn Weatherman and his company have perfected their services to create glass solutions that are both practical and aesthetically pleasing.

St. Charles Glass employees, including members of the Glazers Union Local 513, lend a professional touch to important projects like custom and handicap accessible bath enclosures and beveled glass replacements for antique furniture. Other glass installations include auto glass, window glass and protective glass surfaces. Glass projects are planned with insight to usability and an eye for attractiveness.

Service begins with a consultation. A representative of Daryn Weatherman’s company arrives at the home or business site to discuss the customers’ needs and desires for their glass project. The glass installer then makes recommendations based on the customer input and helps to formulate a plan. Measurements are taken to ensure proper fit before the glass installer leaves.

Within one day of the original consultation with St. Charles Glass, a bid is returned to the customer. At that time, the customer signals acceptance of the bid or requests alterations to the design. Materials not already on hand are ordered within three hours of bid approval.

In most cases, materials arrive within five to seven days. Upon arrival, the materials are inspected and checked for defects and adherence to customer choices. This process takes no more than one day. Next, the glass installation is scheduled to be done in the next one to two days. Completion of the project can be expected to occur within seven to ten days of the initial consultation.

Daryn Weatherman has set a standard within his company for professionalism and customer satisfaction in every job, big or small. With expert design and accurate glass installations, St. Charles Glass has become an industry leader in the St. Louis area.

How to Prepare for a Glass Project in Your Home

Daryn Weatherman’s St. Charles Glass expertly completes home glass projects that range from basic necessities to extravagant luxuries. You may just need to replace a simple broken window. On the other hand, you might want to add interest to your home with a beautiful custom shower surround, In either case, the right approach will make the project run more smoothly.

Assess Your Needs

Think first about what you need to make your life easier. A good place to start is to look at all the broken or chipped glass in your home to see where any problems lie. Is your coffee table’s glass top chipped? Does your bay window have a crack down the center? There is no time like the present to take care of these basic needs related to shelter and safety.

Then, consider any special needs you might have. It is difficult to find a competent glass installer who will design and complete a glass project to allow full accessibility for a disabled resident. Daryn Weatherman has made sure that employees of St. Charles Glass and Glazing are skilled and knowledgeable in dealing with any such special requirements for glass work.

Explore Your Desires

Now that you know what you need, think about your dreams. Custom glass installations make a home more aesthetically pleasing and provide years of comfort and enjoyment. A heavy glass frameless shower enclosure adds a touch of class to your home. Elegant custom mirrors create an appearance of affluence and charm. If you do not have any immediate ideas, look through home decorating magazines and do a little daydreaming. The results can be amazing.

Consider Your Current Situation

Now that you know what you want and understand what you need, take a closer look at what you already have. Sort out in your mind which glass features of your home are acceptable the way they are and which you would like to improve. If you are thinking about adding more glass to your home, look at the area where it will go and try to imagine how the new feature will mesh with the current floor plan and décor.

Determine Your Budget

Most people have limits about how much glass work they can afford to do at any one time. Look over your household budget and think about what you can afford to spend. Remember that the work need not all be done at once. If your funds are limited, make a priority list to determine which glass projects you would like to tackle first.

Consult with the Glass Installer

Daryn Weatherman has put in place standard procedures for working with customers to plan glass installations. An employee of St. Charles Glass meets with the homeowner to discuss their needs, desires and budget constrictions. You might be surprised to discover that you can check off more items on your priority list than you had expected. Due to competent labor and excellent materials paired with cost-efficiency, St. Charles Glass can accomplish more work to your satisfaction than you ever dreamed possible.
